Touch Tank/Contact Pools

At this pool, you can touch and hold the squishy animals like sea urchins and starfish. Though the experience takes place with an expert helping you in interacting with the creatures. This activity is especially loved by kids.

Fish Hospital and Nursery

Timings

The Lost Chamber Aquarium operates daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
It’s open every day of the year.
Early morning (10 AM–12 PM) or late evening (after 6–7 PM) is the best time to visit the aquarium to avoid crowds.
The entry to the aquarium closes at 8:30 PM.

How to Reach

The Lost Chambers Aquarium is a part of Atlantis The Palm Dubai. So, if you’re trying to reach here, you can follow either of the following.

By the Metro: Board the metro going towards Jebel Ali from any station close to you. Get off at the Mall of Emirates station. From there, you’ll have to take a taxi to the Atlantis, Palm.

By Monorail: You can get closest to the Lost Chambers by taking the monorail. Get off at the Palm Atlantis station.

By Car / Taxi: You can ask your taxi driver to drop you at the aquarium, or you can rent a car with Davys Tourism Tourism to explore the city on your own.

Rules of Aquarium

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older.
The aquarium opens between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM and closes the entry at 8:30 PM, 30 minutes before closing time.
Food and beverages are strictly prohibited from outside.
Glassware, Alcohol and weapons are not allowed anywhere inside the aquarium.

Tips for Visitors

Women who are more than 3 months pregnant, guests who have undergone major surgery, visitors with any broken limbs, or people with chronic back or neck aches should avoid this activity.
After engaging in this activity, avoid consuming heavy food and alcohol for a few hours before and after.
Every visitor must carry an ID proof upon arrival. He’ll also have to furnish it when making the booking.
For foreign nationals, sharing their passport and visa details during booking and upon arrival is a must.
Children between 0 and 12 years of age shall be allowed entry only if they are accompanied by an adult.
Entry is free for children under 2 years old.
You cannot bring outside food inside the park.

The majestic aquarium is based on the theme of the mythical city of Atlantis, featuring decorations inspired by the ancient ruins of a sunken city.
There is a dedicated marine hospital within the aquarium, where all sick marine animals are diagnosed, quarantined, and treated.
The aquarium also has a marine breeding program for the endangered or rare marine species like clownfish, seahorses and bamboo sharks.
The designs on the corridors and walls are not random things but fictional language for the aquarium’s mythology.
There are separate tanks for octopuses as they are extremely escape-prone and intelligent. Some of them are known to solve puzzles, open jars and camouflage themselves perfectly.
